I like the washer photo. . .
Neat old house. . .wish I'd been there. . .
I'd give my eye teeth to have an old farm house like that! it would be so neat to refurbish it!
Wow, 1979 on the calendar! Love your pictures.
What a fun little tour. Love the washer
These photos are awesome they make me a little sad though. I wonder where the family went. B
oh wow, it is beautiful...they really did just up and abandon it didn't they? so sad :(
and one thing about you being an "old soul" in your sidebar....my husband's family is from Arkansas and Louisiana and his grandmother has this old wives tale about old souls...according to her if the soles of your feet are wrinkled, it means you are an old soul. my husband is definitely an old soul and has super wrinkly soles...me, i'm not and the soles of my feet are smooth. now when my daughter was born we checked her soles and super wrinkley, and she's an old soul, much older than me! interesting isn't it?!
Walking around this old farmhouse to me (thru your photos) is like a walk thru Macy's for someone else! Must have felt like you found a hidden treasure.
How rare to find that- looks to be in fair condition. I think my great aunt used to have a washer like that.
Love all of these photos, and they really inspire thinking about the history of this charming place. The washer looks like one i remember from my childhood.
Really enjoy all of these photos as they inspire thinking about the history of this lovely old home. The washer looks like one I remember from my childhood.

I love that shade of blue paint on the trim around the windows.... 1979? Now that's a year I remember.
Great shots! I love finding old houses like that. There are lots of them where I live!
What fun! I love coming across old farmhouses like that and imagine what the family was like that lived there. Thanks for sharing the photos!
Love the light blue trim, the chimney and the 1979 calendar. A sweet little house.
I love these photos even though the whole place looks very sad. Love the blue door. Pamela
