I was born and raised in a small farming town in the Northeast Arkansas Delta about a mile from this farmstead. My "Daddy" and Mom inherited the family farm in the 1950s. I spent many summers playing in the barns and buildings. There are now fifteen structures where  I live with my Virginia born husband and a cat named Boo.

THE COUNTRY FARM HOME is a Four-Square Craftsman style structure, built ca 1930 by my Grandfather for his farm manager. It is constructed of cypress, cut and milled right here on the farm.  It is now a  part of the Widner-Magers Farm Historic District and on the National Register of Historic Places. Here we are restoring, renovating, and just plain making-do.
