A Happy Home Recipe

"Here's a recipe for everyone in the family. . . .a recipe that anyone can try and is guaranteed to come out beautifully as long as you follow the instructions. . . ."

A Happy Home Recipe

4 cups of love                                                 5 spoons of hope
2 cups loyalty                                       2 spoons of tenderness
3 cups of forgiveness                                       4 quarts of faith
1 cup of friendship                                      1 barrel of laughter

Take love and loyalty, mix it thoroughly with faith.
Blend it with tenderness, kindness, and understanding.
Add friendship and hope, sprinkle abundantly with laughter.
Bake it with sunshine. Serve daily with generous helpings. . .

Loved the family illustration.

THere is something to be said in favor of the graces of faith, hope,
love, tenderness and forgiveness.
I especially like the phrase "bake with sunshine".

Hope your week has been filled with all these things.

The recipe is wonderful and such good advice.

Love the vintage illustrations, especially the one where the wife is being nurse. The menfolk around here hate my Vicks, but I swear by it. My colds always end sooner than theirs.
