I have a question...I am going to put up some saurkraut following your directions. Approximately how much cabbage will be needed for 6 pint jars. I am figuring 2 heads should do it. Because it is 25 miles to the grocery store, a quick trip to the store is nowhere near convenient. I want to be sure that when I start to do this I have enough ingredients on hand. Thanks so much.
