Remember the Front Porch?

Remember how COOL and INVITING the FRONT PORCH was just a couple of weeks ago?

Well. . . .HERE IT IS NOW. . .

The BIG BAD WOLF was certainly trying to BLOW our house down this past Tuesday. . .He howled and blew and blew and blew with WIND up to 80 mph. . . drenching RAIN and a little HAIL to boot. . ..We huddled inside. . .HOPING and PRAYING that once the storm was over, we'd still have a home. . .and barns. . .and buildings. . .READ MORE. . .

Guess you can see what we'll be doing in the coming weeks?

. . .from my broken
but still standing
farmhouse to yours. . .

  1. Oh wow!!! I am so sorry for the mess, but I'm hoping you are all safe.
    Happy weekend.
    Hugs, Gee

  2. That is unfortunate, for sure. So glad that everyone is safe and sound. I guess it's onwards and upwards from here. Deb

  3. So glad that you are okay. Hope no more bad weather is headed your way.

  4. So sorry to read about the damages. But if you are safe and sound, that's already something.

  5. I feel so sorry for you. It must have been frightening to live through and all that damage to clean up and repair!

  6. Oh! that is so scary!
I hope your able to rebuild that gorgeous porch... and have a vision for all the hard work you're about to be doing. Sometimes storms coming and rebuilding-- gives opportunity for small changes. ;)
    So glad you're safe!

  7. Oh, I'm so sorry you got hit!!! Thankfully both of you are okay and the rest can be dealt with in due time. Hugs.

  8. Gracious! That was a storm! So glad you are all okay. It sure looks like you have your work cut out for you though....
We have had several storms come through lately, thankfully it has just been mostly rain.

  9. Oh my gosh Dru, that storm was unreal. So glad that you are all okay and things are getting put back together! Mother Nature can be brutal at times.

Welcome to the Farm! And, thanks so much for all your comments. I read each and every one of them. . .and, each one is truly appreciated. My friends are always welcome. . .
