Don't forget. . . .It's Time to. . . .

I'm a little under the weather this week--things are going slow--because I'm slowly moving. . . .

So, I thought I'd pop in and remind you to get your Pumpkin Butter made for Thanksgiving and Christmas. . . .All those pumpkins sitting around make delicious and inexpensive spreads for your biscuits, breads, waffles--well, it's just good out of the jar! Grab a spoon and dig in. . . .

 Making Pumpkin Butter

  2. I have made apple butter but never pumpkin butter - this is definitely one I'm going to try. A lot of our neighbors who grow pumpkins are selling their leftovers for $1 each so now is a great time to grab a few of those and stash them in the shed for a couple of weeks. Thinking this would be a great present for my brothers who love pumpkin pie!

I have made apple butter and peach butter, but not pumpkin butter. I did just buy some at Trader Joes and it's delish!

    Thanks for the recipes...

  9. My sister and I just made pumpkin butter last week. But we still have another pumpkin to use up. We used a potatoe ricer instead of a seive. It is delicious! Now on to apple butter!

  11. With fibro it isn't that you're moving slowly, it's that you're still moving! Or, as my favourite reminder to myself goes: "Just because you can't do everything doesn't mean you can't do anything!"

I hope you're feeling better soon; stay warm and well rested. The pumpkin butter looks amazing, sadly I am the only person in the house who will touch pumpkin.
