Not sure exactly how old it was and it wasn't a working farm any more, but all the out buildings were still there and he'd rent pasture and barn space to area animals - usually cows and horses. One of my favorite activities was to take a long walk after dinner with my aunt and uncle up the long gravel road that went up hill, and stand at the top, looking down at the farm. There's something comforting to me about the sound of gravel under foot or under tires. Others complain that it's bumpy. I think it's awesome! Haven't found one yet, but found something pretty cute at T.J. Maxx. Not vintage, but made to look like it. At my grandparents' house and my mom's there were always items that were saved for "something" just waiting to be given a new job. I spent a day last weekend scrounging and cleaning up things to decorate our new front porch and while my husband griped about that not being "on the list" many people have commented on how nice it looks and I had so much fun doing it - sometimes you just have to give up the "list" and go with it - that's part of the best of country life!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13365337032512997277noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1803438449305071948.post-11878550258258680912013-05-14T12:14:30.709-05:002013-05-14T12:14:30.709-05:00Fantastic....I just love the kinda throw together ...Fantastic....I just love the kinda throw together look....that is what a potting table should look like!Ceekay-THINKIN of HOMEhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15111241316745923019noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1803438449305071948.post-85690849939973524552013-05-14T12:00:43.535-05:002013-05-14T12:00:43.535-05:00I love love love it!!
