I am familiar with all the churches mentioned in this post and I believe the Ralph Foster mentioned is the grandfather of a friend of mind, Johnny Foster, who is also a preacher. My grandma lived in an old two...What a sweet story! My grandma lived in an old two-story house that had a huge attic that was like a third story; she had her quilting frames and sewing tables set up in it. I have vague memories as a child of her and her "church ladies" up there quilting (all by hand back then!) for those in need. I wonder now if they ever added their names to any of their quilts.
