Changing Things Around

I'm in the middle of a MESS!!!!!

The entire house is Topsy Turvey!!!!

These are the last of it. . . .the last of the winter decor.

Spring is a time of renewal. . . .a time of starting “fresh”. . . .a time of changing over. . .. Open windows revealed winter dust and cobwebs. . . .Cold weather necessities and décor look a little drab.

I started moving a few things out. . . .then a few things in. . . .a little cleaning here and there. . . .Before I knew it, I was in a mess!

These last few items remain. . . .but, not for long. . . .

Is the sun shining in your windows these days. . . .bringing in lots of Spring energy? Watch out! You might get in a mess, too!
Just thought I'd warn you!

Besides the moving and cleaning, it's been fairly hectic since I returned home. . . .Not much time to catch up with my blogging friends. . . .Where does the time go anyway?. . . .I do have the bath to share with you. . . .It changes with the seasons. . . .or a whim. . . I'll show you just as soon as we move Fred. . . .Who's Fred, you ask? Hmmmmmmm

. . .from my farmhouse to yours. . .

Who is Fred? Can't wait to find out.

I love when messes turn into beauty. Hmmm...made me think of me before coming to know the Lord. I am still a work in progress, thank goodness. :)

I always feel at my wits end when it's time to change out the seasons. Trying to come up with fresh ideas leads to a mess at my house too.

NO! the sun is NOT shining through my windows. We've nothing but clouds and rain all week.
Much needed rain...but I'm done with it for now. Want some sun!
I do agree...with spring comes
spring cleaning. :)

...wondering who Fred is, Pat

I'm sure it's a lovely mess! And it's exciting to change things up with the seasons, not to mention tweaking! I put my Easter things away yesterday so I'm ready for a fresh start, too!

Jane

I've been in a mess more than a few times in my life. Yours sounds like a whole lot of fun about to happen.

I just did the same. To clean one room, I moved everything out...makes quite a mess, but it's the best way to do it right. Have fun!

Oh my, I know how you feel. We are in the midst of renovating our bathroom. Mess, Mess, Mess, but it's all worth it.

Dru, I was in that mess on Monday. Seems like when I switch decor I make a big mess before it's all cleaned up. Nice to have beautiful sunshine. We have had gorgeous weather but today it is raining. Always love a Spring rain! Can't wait to meet Fred.
hugs,
Jann

Oh...I can certainly relate to things being topsy turvy. This past week I spent hours cleaning, tweaking things and rearranging my red hutch. I'm a bit late with my Springtime decorating. Even though my hutch is red I decided to fill it with my Gramma's Desert Rose dishes. I'm glad I did. They lighten things up so much.

I always love visiting your beautiful blog. You are always a source of inspiration!
Have a wonderful weekend and be sure to get a little rest, too.
Blessings,
Carolynn xoxo

I am so with you Dru. Spring cleaning, painting and some fine tuning decluttering are all in full force. Menfolk have scattered to parts unknown. I wonder why...hehehe.
